Three days ago, Japan was shook by an 8.9 magnitude earthquake which was by far the worst to hit the country. But this quake was not the main culprit that brought thousands of death and millions of damages but the devastating tsunami that followed after.

The videos provided by different news channels are truly heartbreaking. The horror that groped those areas hit is unthinkable much more unimaginable is the agony that those victims, who lost not just their properties but their families, are going through right now.

Today, Japan is in the midst of total crisis brought about by the disastrous earthquake and tsunami that hit it and now the nuclear leak causes further threat to the already devastated country.

I am deeply concerned of all the Filipinos who are now in Japan especially those whom I personally know – my friends, my neighbors and my nephew – Richie.

May we all together pray for all the Japanese people and all those who have become unfortunate victims of this damaging phenomena.
